Stretch marks
Newly formed stretch marks which are usually reddish or purplish in color can be successfully treated with Mesotherapy by injecting specific bioactive substances combined in a form of medical cocktails. Treatment is carried out once or two times a week. Number of treatment is individually determined, after doctor examination.
Stretch marks occur in the dermis, the elastic middle layer of skin that allows it to retain its shape. However, when constantly stretched, the dermis can brake down leaving behind stretch marks. Men and women can get stretch marks on several areas of their bodies, including the abdominal area, thighs, hips, breasts, upper arms, or lower back. Stretch marks often start off as reddish or purplish in color and then become glossy skin that appears streaked in silver or white.
However, if the stretch marks are present for several years and more (silver or white coloration) than the adequate procedure for their removal is resolved in combination of 2 methods:
- Dermabrasion, and
- Chemical peels
The procedure is preformed under local anesthesia and it last approximately, up to 40 minutes. If needed, the whole treatment could be repeated after 3 weeks.
